TLS Annual Gathering
A Call for Presenters
The 2009 TLS Gathering Workshop Presentation Proposal Form will be available online February 1, 2009.
Submission Deadline: April 1, 2009
The Labyrinth Society Annual Gathering Planning Committee invites labyrinth facilitators, scholars, writers, and artists to submit a written proposal and outline for a presentation/workshop to be held on Friday, October 9th, during the 2009 TLS Annual Gathering.
Presentation proposals are encouraged to support this year’s theme "Into the Labyrinth: Creating Space for Spirit" and explore co-creation with spirit through the labyrinth. Sound, movement, and pattern are among the many forms of co-creation. What would you like to bring? Workshops and Presentations provide TLS members an opportunity to share their expertise with a unique group of labyrinth enthusiasts, to demonstrate skills and to offer new topics, ideas and ways to approach and use the labyrinth in our society today.
Friday morning workshops will be 90-minutes in length. Friday afternoon workshops will be 60 minutes. If your presentation fits into the shorter length format, be sure to indicate under item #2 on the proposal form.
If you are selected
Presenters at the Gathering will:
- Gain visibility and recognition of expertise
- Receive an honorarium of $150.00 per workshop. (Co-presenters share this fee)
Additional imporant information
At the time of the presentation in October, all presenters must be TLS members in good standing (annual dues paid) and fully registered for the Gathering.
Presenters will be responsible for providing all materials and handouts for presentations as well as a laptop and projector if needed for your presentation. Tables and chairs will be available in each workshop location.
