A Call for Workshop Presenters

THE CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS for the 2010 Gathering is now open.  Submission deadline is March 31, 2010

The Labyrinth Society Annual Gathering Planning Committee invites labyrinth, facilitators, scholars, writers, artists, and creators to submit a written proposal and outline for a 90 minute presentation or workshop to be held on Saturday, November 13th, during the TLS 2010 Annual Gathering. Collectively, the individual presentations will address an overall agenda of technical, spiritual, and experiential practice at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.

The Theme
Presentation proposals are encouraged to support this year’s theme New Harmonies in the Labyrinth, whilst being aware that harmony cannot exist if everyone sings the same line.

  • What is particular to your relationship with labyrinths that is intrinsically different from the practice of others?
  • Could a new era of making, experiencing, and reflecting on labyrinths encourage others to rethink their own practice?
  • Are there connections with other disciplines that could shed new light on traditional ways?

Deadline
The Presentation Submission Form must be received or postmarked by March 31, 2010.  In order to be considered, this form must be completed in full and submitted by mail or email attachment.

If you are selected
Presenters at the Gathering:

  • Gain visibility and recognition of expertise
  • Receive an honorarium of $150.00 per workshop (co-presenters share this fee)

Additional Important Requirements
At the time of the presentation in November, all presenters must be TLS members in good standing (membership dues paid) and registered attendees of the Gathering.

Presenters will be responsible for providing all materials and handouts for presentations as well as laptop/LCD projector if needed for their presentation. Tables and chairs will be available in each workshop location.
