The Post-Gathering Activities
Pre- and Post- Gathering activities offer option ways to extend the Gathering. Below is what was offered in 2012. Watch for 2013 information to be posted here in early 2013.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 14TH ACTIVITIES

Western Wisconsin Wander Half-day Bus Tour
(duplicate of Friday morning tour)

Enjoy an escorted bus tour visiting labyrinths in Western Wisconsin, including a hospital, an art studio and a church, with a stop for dinner on your own in the historic river town of Hudson. Pre-registration is required.

Priming the Well of Wisdom with Lisa Gidlow Moriarty and Kimberly Lowelle Saward
Visit Paths of Peace near Stillwater, MN, and participate in a facilitated retreat engaging in over a dozen outdoor labyrinths maintained at the home and studio of professional labyrinth maker, Lisa Gidlow Moriarty. Pre-registration is required. During the workshop, participants will use labyrinth walking, journaling, art, and self-exploration, to creatively deepen and integrate the Gathering experience and identify steps to carry the experience forward. Workshop registration is required to visit this unique, private location. Registered participants may arrive up to one hour early for a self-guided tour to explore the collection of outdoor labyrinths, ranging in size from 12 feet to 100 feet in diameter. The labyrinths are constructed from a variety of materials and in patterns ranging from classical to medieval to contemporary.
Lisa Gidlow Moriarty
Lisa Gidlow Moriarty, artist, spiritual director, and labyrinth facilitator, is an internationally recognized presenter with a passion for leading others in use of labyrinths in the spiritual journey. International journeys to sacred sites continuously inform her work as she designs and installs labyrinths for schools, hospitals, churches, and individuals. She is past president of TLS and owner of Paths of Peace (www.pathsofpeace.com) in Stillwater, MN.
Kimberly Lowelle Saward, Ph.D.
Kimberly has worked as an educator and clinician in the field of psychology. She has been working with labyrinths since 1995 and is the author of Ariadne’s Thread: Legends of the Labyrinth, a psycho-spiritual study of labyrinth folk practices worldwide. A founding member of TLS, she served as its president from 2003-2008. In addition to her work with labyrinths, Kimberly is an artist who also teaches fiber arts classes and workshops, emphasizing their potential for spiritual practice and community building.
MONDAY OCTOBER 15TH
All Day Bus Tour 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
St. Croix Valley Venture

A day-long escorted bus tour visiting labyrinths in eastern Minnesota, including hospital, church, retreat center, church, park, and funeral home settings.
