Three Pointed Seed Patterns There are two subtypes:
- The Chakra-Vyuha Labyrinth
- The Baltic Labyrinth
1. The Chakra-Vyuha Labyrinth a.k.a. Hecate Labyrinth
Example: Halebid Labyrinth, Mysore, India
Description: This classical labyrinth pattern begins with a "Y" in the center instead of an "X." Also, the labyrinth does not begin at the end of the "Y", but at a dot. This produces a spiral at the goal.

2. The Baltic Labyrinth a.k.a. Goddess Labyrinth
Description: This is a two-mouthed labyrinth. One initially moves through this labyrinth as one does a classical, but because there is a "Y" at the center of the seed pattern instead of the expected cross, it spirals into the goal like the Hecate labyrinth above. Unlike the Hecate labyrinth, there is also a spiraling escape. The Rad (shown below) may look as if it has four mouths; however, the outer ring is not one of the labyrinth's walls. Among German-speaking labyrinth enthusiasts, these are known as "Baltic Wheel Labyrinths."

Here's another way to see it - without the "Y."

Proposed Nasca Labyrinth Seed Pattern
There is some doubt about how this one is created. It can be drawn with a five pointed star or by using a modified classical seed pattern.

Seed Pattern to Labyrinth to Path Alone
Examples: Oak Dragon Fire Labyrinth
This is a daytime shot of a fire labyrinth. It is a variation of the three-circuit labyrinth similar to the one at Nazca. It uses sawdust and paraffin/kerosene applied just before you light it.
DON'T USE GASOLINE or PETROL!

“Here it is at night. Spectacular. But I must admit to having problems with pouring all of those petrochemicals on our Mother, the Earth in a ceremony designed, among other things, to honor Her,” said Sig Lonegren.

The Penti Seed Pattern
Description: This labyrinth can be created by first drawing an “X-on a stick” and then adding dots in each of the ensuing sections. This is a four-circuit labyrinth.
