Labyrinths In Places

“After visiting the labyrinth, visitors to Wellspring have told me that they do have a different feeling about themselves or issues/concerns that they were working on. One guest had hip issues and was not sure if she could walk the whole distance [our labyrinth is 1/3 mile in and out]. Part way through, her hip pain went away and she was able to achieve her goal of walking the labyrinth without pain. Guests at Wellspring are encouraged to walk even if just for the exercise and beauty of our surroundings.”

“One of the most creative, fun events utilizing the labyrinth at our center was a NIA Workshop and Dance which was performed around and on the labyrinth. NIA is inspired by nine unique movement disciplines, blending concepts from both East and West in a diverse energy experience. Our labyrinth is situated on a grassy knoll in a two acre meadow with the Catskill Mountains in the background and during the NIA dance segment we had adults, children, men and women dancing, skipping and circling on the labyrinth…a magnificent scene to behold. We looked like a bunch of whirling dervishes! It was one of the most fun times we’ve had using our labyrinth and most were not only new to NIA but new to the labyrinth, so to provide such a fun atmosphere was a real treat….we all left with a great workout and a smile on our faces.”
