We are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual TLS Auction, April 15 - May 15, 2011! We invite and need your participation!
This year, The Labyrinth Society has again partnered with Bidding for Good for the auction event. Bidding for Good provides an online venue where donations, bids, and the excitement of the auction, can easily be accessed. Be creative! Donation items may include unique products and experiences, entertainment tickets, gift cards, wine, gourmet products, trips, hotels, retreats, art, collectibles, home decor, garden, books, jewelry, and of course, labyrinth items. We have also launched a new "gently used" category this year. (We trust good judgment with these donations.) Donors will be responsible for shipping their items to the winning bidders. The auction bidding begins April 15th so please get involved as soon as possible.
To start your involvement, follow these steps:
- Go to: the Bidding for Good auction page for TLS or visit the Auction Information page on the Labyrinth Society website.
- Click on the DONATE ITEMS box on the left column.
- In the next window, scroll down to the Sign In To Donate box that is centered in the window below the text.
- From the next screen, click on the Register box, if you have never before participated in a Bidding for Good auction.
- Fill in all the boxes on the next page, including the CAPTCHA words at the bottom, (Remember to record your User Name and Password for future use). Check the box "I agree to the terms of use" then click SUBMIT.
- Next, follow the steps to donate an item, post your photo, etc. If you would like your website displayed with your donation, type it after your name in the registration process.
Your participation and generous donations to this event are so valuable to The Labyrinth Society. As part of our thanks to you, TLS will hold a drawing on May 20, 2011, with a one-time "name in the hat," for everyone who bids or donates to the fundraiser. The prize for this drawing will be a one-year Supporting membership (new, renewal, or gift membership) to The Labyrinth Society, valued at $75!
The success of this fundraiser depends on the energy of all, and the event is open to both TLS members and non-members. Please tell your family, friends, fellow labyrinth enthusiasts, your spiritual community, your book club, etc. Donate, bid often, and have fun!
Many thanks,
Lilla and Sherry
TLS Online Auction Committee (auction bidding dates are April 15-May 15, 2011)
Lilla Gidlow and Sherry Biltz may be contacted by email, and are available to help with your donation process.

Please again be reminded to use the Amazon.com link on the TLS website homepage whenever you make an online purchase from that vendor. Our special link to Amazon is located in the left-hand area of the homepage under the Contents heading in the sentence: Shop Amazon.com for books, electronics, gifts - anything! - and a portion of your purchase will be sent to the Labyrinth Society!
When you use our homepage link and make a purchase, TLS is automatically credited at least 6% of the amount you spend. Credits accumulate over the course of each month, and are electronically deposited into our savings account on the 28th. In 2010 the total received by the society was $518.00, and I suspect that could be higher if we all would remember each time we buy something from Amazon to access their website via the TLS homepage link. Every little bit makes a difference. Encouraging family and friends to help support your passion for labyrinths in this way can further magnify our collective power to affect positive change in the world.
With appreciation for your continuing support of who we are and what we do,
David Gallagher
Executive Director

We all know that labyrinth enthusiasts accessorize well. This year you can put all the jewelry and scarves that you no longer wear to good use. Earrings, bracelets, rings, cuff links, bolo ties? A pashmina or perhaps that favorite feather boa you found abandoned in the back of the closet?
Well, here's your chance to buff and fluff it all up for a good cause! Take part in the TLS Jewelry Fundraiser at Gathering 2011 and donate used jewelry and scarves to benefit our organization. This year, the funds generated will be committed to the next major piece of our on-going web site upgrade.
It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
If you’re planning on donating, here’s what we need from you:
- Come prepared with a list of the estimated value of the donated item(s). Download the 2011 Jewelry Gypsies donation form (40Kb)
- If you have earring cards or small jewelry boxes, please include them with the donation.
- Drop off your donation to the Jewelry Gypsy Check-In Table located next to the registration desk.
What's more? Donation doesn't have to be the only thing you do to serve this wonderful cause:
- The Jewelry Gypsies need your help at the vending table! Come have fun with us as we sell all of this wonderful glitz for a good cause. Contact Hallie Sawyers to sign up!
- And don’t stop there: consider browsing the donated merchandise and find something 'new-to-you' to buy at a very reasonable cost.
All proceeds will be donated to TLS, so please help support our organization! We look forward to seeing an endless parade of incredible people wearing fabulous bling that they bought at our table.
The TLS Jewelry Gypsies,
Diane Terry-Kehner

We are pleased to announce that the Labyrinth Society Website has been upgraded to the latest version of software. We have added a new auction page and the Events Calendar has been upgraded to make it much easier for you to find events in your area. You will be able to filter by city or state rather than region. You will also be able to enter events based on new recurrence pattern options (such as the second Saturday of each month). The new Events Calendar is live with all the new events people have been sending to us.
The labyrinth locator currently is being updated to the latest version of the software. The next stage of the upgrade process is to upgrade our Membership Manager, the database that keeps track of contact and membership information. This is a large project and will enhance our ability to serve our members. We welcome donations to help cover the cost of this important upgrade. Donations can be easily made by downloading and completing our Online donation form, by calling our office at (607) 387-5863 with a credit card, or mailing a check with the donation form to The Labyrinth Society, PO Box 736, Trumansburg, NY 14866.
As always, if you notice any issues with the website or the labyrinth locator pages, please contact our Web Chair.
Does your website link to the Labyrinth Society Website? With our latest website upgrade, some of the page links have changed. Please check your links to make sure that you have the most recent ones.
