Meditative Nature labyrinths
Presenter:
Kelley K. Quinn
Begin your personal 12 inch square nature labyrinth with a centering meditation, then learn the basic elements of meditative art and how it is used to calm the mind. Lay out and print natural materials to create a unique work of meditative labyrinth art. Several labyrinth patterns and different styles of hand-made papers will be available, all skill levels welcome. A $20 materials fee will be payable to the instructor at the time of the workshop.

Kelley K. Quinn

Kelley K. Quinn specializes in sacred designs for health and well-being. She has been studying and designing spiritual tools for over 15 years through community art projects in groups of two to 800. Her workshops, retreats, and residencies explore the nature of art, culture, and community.  Quinn most recently has created the largest 7-circuit wheelchair accessible prairie grass labyrinth in her community to walk and talk about loss, suicide prevention and awareness. Quinn’s work continues with her 501c3 promoting the arts as tools for health and well-being in the community and beyond.

The Island Environment: A Tour for the Senses

Join us as we explore Bainbridge Island for an afternoon.  We will visit the famous Bloedel Reserve featuring twelve distinct gardens, enjoy wine tasting at Bainbridge Vineyards, stop by the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, and visit one or two labyrinths.
