Circles in the Sand: Walking the Sandy Path
Presenter: Denny Dyke
Join labyrinth artist, Denny Dyke, in creating a Dream Field labyrinth on the shores of Bainbridge Island. This is a sunrise walk to honor the path of the labyrinth as a means of meditation, transformation, and healing with nature.

Denny Dyke, one of our Featured Presenters for the 2017 Gathering, is the labyrinth artist for Circles in the Sand. In January 2015, Denny starting drawing full time, which means about every two weeks with shifting of the tides. A typical Draw has a path which meanders through the entire pattern and returns near the entrance. Over 10,000 pairs of feet have joined him on the sandy path of his Dream Field labyrinths.

Local Labyrinths Galore - Seattle Area Labyrinths

Hop onboard a tour bus that leaves from the Seattle Ferry Terminal and visits five area labyrinths, including the Seattle Center near the base of the Space Needle, indoor and outdoor church sites, and a bookstore. At the end of the tour, the bus will drop participants off around 6:00 pm at SEATAC before heading back to Seattle for a second and final drop off at the Mayflower Hotel in downtown Seattle for those wishing to stay in the area to extend their visit. The labyrinth bus tours are a popular annual highlight. Register early as space is limited!

NOTE: The Mayflower Hotel, our final stop on the bus tour, is conventiently located at the Westlake light-rail station for direct connection to the airport, and an easy 5 block walk to Pike Place Market.
