Buderim Walk As One on World Labyrinth Day

BWMCA Craft Cottage Lawn
5 Main Street
Buderim, Queensland 4556

Buderim joins the World “Walk As One at 1pm” from 12:45 to 2:00 pm.
In over 30 countries around the globe, people will gather to walk labyrinths at 1.00pm on Saturday 5 May as a sign of peace and goodwill.

Labyrinths have been used across spiritual and religious traditions for over 4000 years for prayer, meditation and as a metaphor for journey or pilgrimage. The best known labyrinth in the Christian tradition is the one in Chartres Cathedral in France that has been used for nearly 1000 years. If you’ve never walked the Labyrinth before, this is a great opportunity to experience this enduring spiritual practice as we explore the labyrinth on the lawns adjacent to the Craft Cottage and the BWMCA Hall.
