Circles in the Sand

9:00am - 12:00pm
2 days
Face Rock Wayside State Park
Parking lot turn out off of Beach Loop Drive
Bandon, OR 97411

Circles in the Sand kicks off our sixth season with three days of creating walking, temporary labyrinths on the beach in Bandon, Oregon, 4/30-5/2. All of the walks are free and open to the public. For more information about Circles in the Sand and the walk start times for each day of this series please visit our website,

The walk time for the labyrinth on World Labyrinth Day, Saturday, May 1 is 10:00 AM PST. The labyrinth will be available to walk until the tide washes it away in the afternoon.

We suggest you dress for cold and possibly windy weather on the beach. Layers of clothing, hats, gloves, and sturdy shoes are recommended. Parking at the State Park is very limited. Be prepared to walk from an alternate location. There are a few sets of stairs leading down to the beach from the Face Rock parking lot. The beach is not handicapped accessible. Our labyrinths can be viewed from the cliff at the parking lot for those who can not negotiate stairs easily. Dogs on leashes are welcome to walk with their owners. Drones are discouraged due to nesting birds on the spectacular sea stacks. We ask visitors to be respectful of the seashore and not disturb the wildlife or litter. Share love, show love, be love.
