SUMMARY:50 Days of Finger Tracing
DESCRIPTION:In what is perhaps the most Enneagram 7 move ever\, I developed a list of 50 “big things” I want to do between my 50th and 51st birthday. (In all honestly\, they’re not all “big things\,” but whatever. Lol)\nOne of them is to trace a labyrinth 50 days in a row. Finger tracing a labyrinth is a very different experience than walking one\, and I wanted to engage the practice a little more directly (since it has never been my favorite labyrinth activity). \nAnyhow… I’ve decided to start my 50 days of tracing on March 14 – 50 days before World Labyrinth Day (Saturday\, May 3).\nI would love to have some people join me and will create a WhatsApp group for those who are interested in a little communal interaction along the way.\nYou need not join the WhatsApp group\, even if you decide to join me in the 50 days\, of course.\nAlso\, if there are a number of people who want to join me and have never really tried the whole labyrinth thing very much\, I’ll gladly hold a zoom introduction before we begin so you don’t feel left to your own devices. \nDrop me a message if you’re interested.

SUMMARY:Pop-up Auction - Chartres Labyrinth
DESCRIPTION:In 2000\, David Gallagher purchased a 36′ Veriditas-style Chartres Labyrinth. He put it in a plastic tub and saved it for a future date\, when he intended to give it to The Labyrinth Society as a gift. His intent was that we use it as a fundraiser. \nThat date came in 2023\, when David\, then Executive Director of The Labyrinth Society\, was diagnosed with cancer. The labyrinth has been waiting for our new auction software to be tested and ready to use. In the meantime\, it has been living in the home of one of our members\, Chuck Hunner\, in Ashville\, North Carolina. The labyrinth survived the hurricanes that struck Asheville recently\, with no damage. There are a couple minor spots (photos) from its time in the tub\, but otherwise it is in great shape. \nYou can own a piece of Labyrinth History. \nThe Auction will start on November 11\, at 3 PM ET. It will end at 9 PM ET on November 21. The labyrinth value was appraised at $4000. The Minimum bid is $3900. \nThe winner has to pick it up or pay for shipping.  \n
