The 2009 TLS Gathering is Headed to Oregon!

2009 Gathering Poster 40KbIt is not too soon to be thinking about yet another amazing TLS Gathering. The traditionally beautiful fall weather of the Pacific Northwest has created an irresistible call to hold gathering a few weeks earlier this year in October, so we can take advantage of the area’s lovely scenery. This year's 11th Annual Gathering is planned for October 8-10th, with Pre- and Post-Gathering opportunities on Wednesday evening October 7th, and Saturday and Sunday, the 10th and 11th. A gathering schedule is now available on the TLS website, and online registration  is scheduled to open in April .

The 2009 TLS Gathering theme, Into the Labyrinth: Creating Space for Spirit, inspires participants and presenters alike to embody the presence we call Spirit, and the multitude of ways we express our connection to That. Sound, movement, and pattern are all forms born out of the impulse to co-create with Spirit. We invite you to bring your own expression of the Mystery into the profound spaciousness of the labyrinth.

We are also thrilled to feature not one, not two, but THREE Guest Presenters for the 2009 Gathering. We are pleased to be highlighting our west coast’s own Labyrinth Designer and Expressive Artist, Lea Goode-Harris, of the Santa Rosa Foundation, Scotland’s renowned Labyrinthian Land Artist, Jim Buchanan, and Costa Rican Architect, sacred geometrist, and Holistic Balance Instructor, Ronald Esquivel.

With fantastic food, whimsical room décor, on-site winery and brewery, and expansive views, the Gathering site of McMenamins Edgefield, offers an unequalled space for labyrinth lovers to meet this October and explore the notion of creating space for spirit. This remarkable destination is a whimsical, art-filled venue at the mouth of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge.

Our Planning Team has been working hard to offer you a most memorable event. We are so excited and cannot wait to see you at Gathering this fall. Stay tuned for a separate announcement when online registrations opens. This is an event you won't want to miss!

Peaceful meanderings,
Stephen Shibley,
