Dr. Stephanie Blackton assists people interested in creating more health in their lives with nutrition and lifestyle awareness using a variety of methods, including the labyrinth.  A long-time student of personal growth and spirituality and a licensed chiropractor since 1986, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work.

Stephanie joined TLS in 2002 and attended her first TLS Gathering in Sacramento.  Soon after she served on the committee hosting the 2003 gathering in Baltimore.  In Spring of 2008, she was appointed to serve on The Labyrinth Society Board and currently serves as PR Chair and World Labyrinth Day coordinator.

An active member of the Labyrinth Ministry at the Charlottesville, Virginia Unitarian Church since 2002, she coordinated the installation of both a permanent and portable canvas labyrinth and served on a team hosting Open Walks.  She is a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator, has studied with Master Labyrinth Builder, Robert Ferre, offers Creative Journal/Labyrinth Retreats for groups, and has been offering Labyrinth Retreats in a Level Three maximum security women's prison since 2003. During that time, she facilitated a group project in which the inmates created a 7 circuit canvas labyrinth.  To read more about this work, visit the Labyrinths in Prison Ministries page of the TLS website.
