Wanted: Irresistible Items for the Silent Auction

The Silent Auction is a beloved tradition of the Gatherings, and a significant source of income for the Society. Funds raised from the Silent Auction go towards providing scholarships for people who would otherwise be unable to attend.

In the past donated items have included books, original art work and jewelry, handknit socks, finger labyrinths, trips and services. These can be labyrinth related or not.* Browsing the Auction display is always highly entertaining, everyone is curious to see what's new this year. Of course, the more items we receive, the better! So don’t be shy, bring along your treasures to donate for a good cause and help make the event even more fun.

Anyone can donate an item, whether or not they are attending the Gathering. Items can be sent by mail (allow sufficient lead time for postal service and customs).  Contact organiser Dan Raven with questions and donation-related information.

*Editor's note: I will be donating jars of my famous artisanal organic lime marmalade and ... drumroll ... Branston pickle (a famous English thing); the somewhat tenuous link to labyrinths being that they were transformed in a liminal space ;)
