At least four times a year, TLS members are rewarded at their inboxes with a copy of the Labyrinth Society e-newsletter. It serves as a means of direct communication with the membership and provides an historical record of the Society.

Never a Dull Moment with the 365 Club

Lynda Tourloukis and Mary Silvaroli Daul both responded to the request for a new representative to oversee the 365 Club and what they have found in partnership is a mutual friendship and respect as well as a path filled with laughter and creativity. In the fall of  2012 they created a survey for current members to express what they might appreciate in support and resource of their daily commitment. It was shared online and in person at the fall TLS gathering where it piqued more interest from members. Together Mary and Lynda formed a basis to move forward in keeping with the survey results and planned ideas to begin on the first of the New Year of 2013.

In January they created a newsletter that contained elements about new beginnings, with a focus on daily observations as well as a monthly focus. The idea was to connect with those who might appreciate a connection and resource honoring those who might simply want to guide themselves. They also updated the list of members so that everyone who wanted to receive information would do so.

In February they introduced the daily walking blog with ideas each day that complimented the monthly focus. Their monthly news was rich with ideas that got to the heart of the matter of walking daily and in March a look at the labyrinths of movement and personal motion was highlighted. April brought about the considerations for Earth Day as well as National Humor Month reminding us all that the path is filled with what is natural. It also brought about a harmonisation with The Labyrinth Society image, using the tools set up to make it an easy transition.

They are planning ways for 365 Club members to discover the many abilities, talents and resources of those who make a daily commitment. Lynda and Mary are grateful for the many notes of gratitude, and suggestions that have come in and thank everyone for the ways that help them both to be of service in this daily journey.

The Labyrinth Society Board of Directors, at its August bimonthly telemeeting, were so impressed with the 365 Club's Newsletter that the agenda included a discussion of ways to make this wonderful resource available to all TLS members. More news to come on that initiative! Thanks Lynda and Mary!
