The Labyrinth Society's podcast show, Many Paths, Many Visions, has just completed its first episode of the season with landscape artist and former TLS Gathering Liaison, Stephen Shibley, as a guest. Listen in as Stephen shares his thoughts about the Islandwood site on Bainbridge Island, the Gathering theme, his workshop presentation topic, and other juicy tidbits of pertinent information!

This is the first of many upcoming shows highlighting worldwide labyrinth enthusiasts' activities, passions, and creative endeavors. Stay tuned for interviews with guests from Lithuania, South Africa, Australia, and Canada who are using labyrinths in unique and meaningful ways. Starting in late summer, Christiana Brinton will host shows with guests who are scheduled workshop presenters for the 2017 TLS Gathering and, in early October, both featured speakers, Jeffery Bale and Denny Dyke, will be on as guests. There will be much to listen to, learn from, and enjoy! Join us live, call-in at the end of the show, or watch the recording on either the TLS website or on the The Labyrinth Society YouTube page.

The format for these shows will be a bit different. We will be using GoToMeeting instead of Skype due to Christiana’s summer schedule. GoToMeeting is easier in that the host and guest use the same call-in number. I will be publicizing each call-in number at least five days out so that those of you who wish to join us live can do so.  I will publicize the number on the TLS FB Page and GG. It’s first come - first served and we can only have eighteen other people on the call. You will be muted until the last fifteen minutes.

Here is a list of the upcoming summer shows:

JULY:

7/12/17: Lorraine Rodda, 1pm CDT (7/13, 3pm AEST); How Do You Seed An Entire Continent with Labyrinths? Join us as we talk about the Australian Labyrinth Network and the vibrant labyrinth scene “Down Under.”

7/26/17: Clive Johnson, 1pm CDT (7pm BST); Join us as we talk about Clive’s just completed “Labyrinth Around America” project and the labyrinths he loves dearly in his neck of the UK.

AUGUST:

8/2/17: Holly Carnegie-Letcher, 9am PST (7am CTD); Holly is a Gathering workshop presenter this year and has created a Vancouver Island, CA Labyrinth Pilgrimage in October that directly precedes the Gathering. Join us as she shares her workshop topic and the labyrinths she wishes to share with visitors on her lovely island home.

8/16/17: Dan Niven, 11am CDT; Seattle native and creator and administrator of the Western Washington Labyrinth Network, Dan will share with listeners his passion for designing, and building labyrinths as well as his love of documenting all of the wonderful labyrinths in Washington State.

8/30/17: Warren Lynn, 11am CDT; Using his website, Wellfedspirit.org, as a way of satisfying his visual learner needs, Warren is slowly creating a library of USA state maps showing all current labyrinth locations from the Worldwide Labyrinth Locator as well as any trained Veriditas labyrinth facilitators who might be living in each state. Join us as we discuss his ongoing labor of love.
