Members of The Labyrinth Society shall adhere to the following Code of Ethics:
- In creating, maintaining and using labyrinths, members shall be guided by integrity, honesty, respect for diversity, equality, and a sense of community.
- Membership or leadership in this Society does not serve as qualifying evidence of any level of proficiency or ability relating to labyrinths and their uses and shall not be so represented.
- Members’ descriptions and uses of the labyrinth shall not imply endorsement by The Labyrinth Society.
- Members shall only display the Labyrinth Society on letterhead, stationery, cards, or advertising in the following format:
Your name, title, The Labyrinth Society, Inc.:
e.g., Mary Jones, member, The Labyrinth Society, Inc.or Bob Brown, treasurer, The Labyrinth Society, Inc. - Information taken from other members web sites shall be used only with the author’s permission and with credit given to the source.
- Members shall not represent or obligate The Labyrinth Society in any way unless specifically authorized by the Executive Committee.
NOTE: While recognizing the broad applications and potential benefits of the labyrinth experience, The Labyrinth Society does not make any specific claims regarding uses or benefits of the labyrinth.
