Biography

Yadina Clark is an experienced labyrinth designer, educator, facilitator, and researcher. She is currently working on an improved labyrinth classification system based on topological pattern analysis, recurring component patterns, and base-dual-transpose-complement relationships. Additional labyrinth projects have included path length calculators and a color-coded map of over 250 labyrinths in New England. “Labyrinths of New England” began as a graduate research project and has become the umbrella term for much of Yadina’s labyrinth work. This includes temporary and permanent installations, finger and tabletop labyrinths, walk facilitation, labyrinth workshops, and mindfulness playshops.

Yadina earned a Master of Fine Arts in Intermedia from the University of Maine where she specialized in labyrinth design and permaculture. She also continued her studies in music composition and performance. In addition to teaching about labyrinths, she has been involved in education for many years in music and environmental education. She brings her music and labyrinth skills together for occasions such as solstice and equinox celebrations.
