My workshop reflects on the seasons of a labyrinth’s life. What happens if a labyrinth “runs its course” in a given time and space? How can the essence of a labyrinth live on? What does rebirth look like? Using a Power Point presentation format in the first part of our session, we will examine the seasons of a labyrinth’s life. This will help participants identify what stage of life a particular labyrinth is in. With this knowledge, participants will better understand what seeds need to be sown for the future health of a particular labyrinth and its community. Participants together will create a poster showing an inventory of current ways the labyrinth is used and brainstorm new ways of using the labyrinth. This “collecting of seeds” will inspire participants to help sow the labyrinth in new ways. This will in turn nurture the varied and winding ways of the labyrinth as we continue to offer the world its healing path. We will wrap up our time together with a fun, theme-related, labyrinth activity that each participant will take with them as a reminder of how the labyrinth lives on.
