What does heartfulness have to do with labyrinths and the theme of this year’s gathering? What happens when we plant seeds for the future with heart-awareness? And how do we take care of our heart, physically, mentally, and spiritually? This interactive lecture focuses on these questions and explores how the labyrinths of antiquity have provided us with a modern day template for contemplation and discovery. In the past twenty years, new designs have emerged, as well as numerous ways of using the labyrinth as a means for introspection, sparking creativity, and as a connection to seeing the world around us in a new way. To plant seeds for the future, we need to be in the present. The labyrinth can be used as a GPS to mark our growth as humans and bring us to a greater awareness of our physical, mental and spiritual health.
Finger-labyrinths and group exercises will lay the foundation for this PowerPoint presentation, which will include slides, illustrations, and nutritional information. Questions and answers will be an essential part of our time together.
