As of April 7, 2026:  Another 80 new listings were uploaded to the Labyrinth Locator website during the first quarter of 2026, not counting a few duplicate listings that do not show in the software totals (and are consequently difficult to track) that are typically combined with the previous uploaded version. We now have 6735 labyrinths active in the WWLL database in around 100 different countries, including a newly created Virtual Reality category for online virtual labyrinths, and several updated official country titles that have been updated or added. That process also revealed a few older entries in the database with no country assigned to them, that therefore would not show when their countries were selected as a search parameter – they have also been fixed.

The number of new labyrinths has picked up somewhat in the last few months and we are already receiving updates to existing listings for the forthcoming 2026 World Labyrinth Day. Approximately 195 update and admin emails were received and sent during the period and, as always, a few labyrinths no longer in existence were removed.
