Fleet Landing’s Labyrinth: One Senior Community’s Journey to Plant and Cultivate Common Ground

My poster presentation is focused on a local research project with an active senior living community who sought to answer several questions: Could a labyrinth be welcomed and integrated into our community-in-transition, as a common ground space for people moving into the community from many different backgrounds? Might a labyrinth be a container to help build and sustain community? How could the labyrinth be integrated, as a hopeful & healing practice, into the wellness program of our community? What type of labyrinth would be most appropriate for our population, making it as accessible as possible to all?
