It is not disputed amongst labyrinth historians, those who walk labyrinths, and those who do research on labyrinth walking, that labyrinths provide a path for healing. Is it possible to help heal a planet with labyrinths?
In early 2013, a couple living in LaFalda, Argentina, wanted to heal the negative energy still palpable in their town from World War II. SS officers from Nazi Germany fled to LaFalda after the war to escape being tried for war crimes. A few years earlier, Jews had fled Nazi Germany to LaFalda as well, to escape Nazi persecution.
The call from Argentina launched Veriditas’s Legacy Labyrinth Project. A crew of Veriditas board members and their friends traveled on their own dime to build this labyrinth in LaFalda, teach a Facilitator Training in Spanish to select members of the town, have a Dedication led by Dr. Artress that was co-lead by the town’s mayor, all the while knowing that this labyrinth was the cornerstone for more communities around the world who wanted community healing. The Project sets healing intention into each labyrinth through ritual, physical objects, annual events, and networking with other Legacy Labyrinths globally.
Since then the Project has built and dedicated five labyrinths on three continents with two more slated on two other continents.
Come learn the details of this Project, how to join in, and the power of intentional healing through the labyrinth experience.
