SoulCollage(c) is a delightfully simple and creative means of exploring various aspect of one's personality through imagination, wisdom, and intuition. Participants will create their own SoulCollage(c) card that will then be used to guide a labyrinth walk and deepen the journey of their heart.
At the outset of the workshop, students will choose a single image to reflect on. From that, the instructor will offer a brief introduction to SoulCollage(c). Handouts will be provided. The bulk of the workshop time will be hands on, with students knee deep in images and creativity.
Images collected from magazines and books are made available to participants. Together with a variety of background papers, students will gather pictures that resonate with them or call them to take a closer look. Once a card is created, imagination and intuition take over for the next step of the journey to discern a message from the process. Working with a partner and directed with set questions, participants will deeply explore the images, tapping into their inner wisdom. As a result of this experience, one will be made aware of the web of community that strengthens our growth and connects us within the process.
Holding the card that was created and celebrated, participants will then use the card as a focus for a labyrinth walk. Students will be invited to take their card, the wisdom gleaned from it, as well as any discovered joys or baggage that needs to be dealt with on the walk.
