Our primary focus is to bring attention to the beauty, challenge, and inspiration of walking or creating organic labyrinths. People have been inspired to work the land bringing forth a sacred space to ground, center, and share much needed spiritual connection. This type of labyrinth complements, expands, and enhances the labyrinth experience for many. Organic labyrinths root us in tradition and sow the seeds for the future.
We offer several activities that can include a brief presentation of organic labyrinths with stories of connections; a looped slideshow for inspiration; participant reflection with opportunities to ‘walk a finger labyrinth’; then, through journaling and/or drawing, how they might create or enhance an organic labyrinth. We offer time for sharing their memories and ideas. We will end with Q&A. The emphasis is on participation.
