WLD May 4 2024 Pre Events

NEW Pre Labyrinth Day Webinars

You are invited to "WLD at the Myth Salon:  Free Zoom webinar on Tuesday, March 19 at 5PM Pacific /8 PM Eastern The Myth Salon is deeply honored to host a special panel discussion among leaders in the world labyrinth institutions to advance the awareness of the 16th Annual World Labyrinth Day on Saturday, May 4, a day acknowledged throughout the world to honor the unique contributions that labyrinths make to peace, nonviolence and global unity. Every year on the first Saturday in May, thousands of people around the world participate in World Labyrinth Day and the Friday before for World Labyrinth Day in Educational Settings as a moving meditation for world peace and shared appreciation of the labyrinth experience.

This special event will be  Myth Salon's  first in a series of panel discussions on labyrinths that for now we are calling Love and the Labyrinth. As we all know, love is the archetype that connects.  Love creates, bonds, heals and sustains everything in the cosmos. Love is as relevant to physics as it is to psychology. It is the glue reality needs to cohere. Without love as the guiding principle, existence simply could not be. Between the poles of love and strife, beauty in every form possible expresses and shapes the worlds we inhabit. Accordingly, the labyrinth is the ideal symbol to evoke the poetry, potential, and subtle power of love.

In this panel discussion, we feature all four of the global organizations in labyrinth education and scholarship: The Labyrinth Society, Veriditas, The Legacy Labyrinth Project, and the Australian Labyrinth Network.  We invite you to join in celebrating World Labyrinth Day on Saturday, May 4, and attend  this important labyrinth panel discussion on March 19th

The Labyrinth Society's new website is nearing completion!

As a volunteer organization, it takes time to implement projects and fulfill our vision for what we can provide for our members and the general public. After two years of steady development work, we are now into the final stages of creating a beautiful, completely new website and integrated membership management system.

Please bear with us during this transition. We have had some challenges with the current outdated website and have had to disable most of our forms. We are devoting much of our volunteer time to completing the new website and will be sending out fewer eNews updates and social media posts until we get closer to the launch.
