The article discusses the use of labyrinth as a stress-reduction tool or mindfulness technology for the academic library and development and testing of the Sparq Meditation Labyrinth which was used in the Bizzell Memorial Library on the University of Oklahoma Norman Campus. Topics discussed include use of the Sparq to address issues of stress and mental distraction, signs of positive effects of labyrinth-walking on mental well-being, and research conducted Donna Zucker on incarcerated subjects.
