Building our Hummingbird Therapeutic Equine Labyrinth: Branching out to include Medicine Horses, Findhorn Gem Essences and Community

Our Therapeutic Equine Labyrinth began as homeschool math project! The magic of Medicine Horses, the sacred geometry and planting of Findhorn Gem Essences, an Incan Prophesy, and a compassionate community emerged supporting synchronicities and divine connections. Education, healing stories, an ancient Andean gratitude meditation, and a video created by the students documenting the organic building process will be shared.

Abstract

Two Douglas Fir trees stand tall in a pasture, safely containing this 42m wide circular peaceful pathway from north to south; supporting synchronicities and divine connection. This 60-minute lecture will share information about the magic of the Medicine Horses, an Incan prophecy and the sacred geometry and planting of Findhorn Gem Essences throughout this labyrinth. Engagement of a community of unlikely participants allowed for an amazing process and project to emerge. This began as an applied geometry project to design an equine labyrinth with a group of 11-15 year old homeschooled horse-passionate girls. As the process unfolded, an incredible branching out connected families, friends, strangers, local horse clubs, musicians, artists, energy workers, First Nations Elders and Shaman, clients, media, and a local quarry. A video documenting this organic building process, produced and edited as part of a media & technology credit by the students will be shown. Powerful healing stories that have emerged between humans, horses, rocks, trees, Findhorn essences, the land and spirit will be shared. An ancient Andean gratitude meditation will be facilitated with an opportunity for discussion and questions will follow.
