Paving the Way

A talk about how the journey to build a labyrinth in a public park became a life changing pilgrimage. Eleven gifts of the spirit arose from the experience including: becoming a vessel for something greater than the self; learning how to trust the path as it unfolds; accepting obstacles as integral to the path; holding space for an emerging community; healing relationships in the crucible of a threshold space; the metaphors of orientation: listening to the land and the wisdom of the space; aligning with the labyrinth as a philosophy and the practical application of its principles.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to deepen their understanding of the labyrinth as a lens through which to navigate their lives and as a compelling paradigm for uncertain times.
