Stress Management Tools – Supporting the Labyrinth Experience

The primary focus of this experiential workshop will be to provide participants with an opportunity to trial some helpful stress management techniques. These tools can be used prior to walking the labyrinth in order to further enhance this health and wellness experience. In our busy, multi-tasking, technology driven, fast-food culture we find that illness and disease is rampant. Numerous stressors trigger mental and physical illnesses. By gathering a box full of “tools”, we can equip ourselves, our families, friends and communities to better manage the expectations of daily life and support a joyful, healthy experience. Emotional Freedom Technique ©, 5-Minute Daily Energy Routine, and a chakra balancing breath meditation will be taught prior to walking the Stress Relief Labyrinth. An opportunity to identify individual stressors and rate stress responses before and after the teaching will be facilitated. The group will have an opportunity to share and give feedback after the labyrinth walk.
