TLS 2015 Online Auction Recap

This year’s online auction was a huge success thanks to the active participation of donors and bidders alike! Our original fundraising goal was set at $4,000. Much to our delight and gratitude, we exceeded this goal by a whopping $1,413, raising a total of $5,413.00 in bids, donations, and sponsorships. During the course of the auction there were 9,238 visits to the auction site and 471 bids placed. Among the many items up for auction this year was a coveted lifetime membership to The Labyrinth Society. Congratulations to John Ridder for winning this year’s lifetime membership, and welcome, as a permanent member of the TLS family!

Lifetime membership

What a deal!

TLS would like to send a huge thanks to our very own Auction Goddess, Sarah Nash, who contributed vast amounts of energy, time, and experience to get the auction set up and running smoothly.

We would also like to send a huge thanks to all of you who participated in this year’s online auction. Whether through a donation, a bid, or simply a “push” on social media, we appreciate your efforts in helping to support The Labyrinth Society.

Finally, we would like your feedback. This year we used a new auction platform and we’d like to know what your experience was like. Did you notice anything new? Did you run into any hiccups? What did you like about the new platform, or not? If you have any thoughts or comments about this year’s auction, or the new auction website, please share them with Katja Marquart, TLS Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair.

Thanks again and see you at the next online auction!
