For over 15 years, as part of Labyrinth Quest with Harriette Royer, Kay co-created multi-sensory events and workshops which combine the labyrinth with hands-on healing, sacred sound, journaling, and art. She has been a member of the Labyrinth Society since 2004. She has been PR Chair, Web Chair, and Resources VP. She was President of The Labyrinth Society for six years and is currently Interim Executive Director. She is a member of its Gathering Steering Committee, Finance Committee, the Communications team, as well as a Regional Rep and Energy Keeper.

Kay Whipple holds a BS in Computer Science, Large Scale Systems Engineering, and Industrial Management from Purdue University and an MBA in Marketing and Economics from the University of Rochester, Simon School. She specializes in applying technology to solve business needs.  She has been a partner and Chief Operating Officer for a leadership training and strategic planning company since 2003. She has many years of experience as a programmer, Quickbooks Pro Advisor, and business consultant. As a writer, she has produced marketing materials including books, social media, websites, and infomercials for clients.  She also owns a print-on-demand publishing company offering resources celebrating adventure, personal and spiritual growth, and business effectiveness.
