Who We Are

Ruthann Daniels

Volunteers Coordinator

Ruthann Daniels is a former ballet dancer, having danced with several small ballet troupes over a period of 15 years in the New York City area.

She has been a Wiccan elder/teacher for nearly 20 years, teaching those seekers who wish to learn more about the Earth and the Divine Feminine.  She enjoys bringing the energy of the labyrinth into Wiccan circles and finds it helpful with meditation and journey work.

Ruthann has participated in Opre Khetanes!, a symposium on Roma/Gypsy Music at NYU, and learned to sing many lovely Gypsy melodies.

Ruthann serves on the Council at Episcopal Actors’ Guild (EAG). Since 1923 EAG has provided emergency financial assistance to performers of all faiths and none. Associated with the Little Church Around the Corner at 1 East 29th St in NYC, Guild Hall is about half a block away from Marble Collegiate Church, which houses a beautiful indoor labyrinth that is open to the public on Wednesday afternoons.  This is where Ruthann really found her connection to the labyrinth.

Ruthann loves to travel and looks forward to heading over to Chartres the next time she’s in Paris. She also plans to visit the labyrinth at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.

She is a proud cat mom to Cyrus and was delighted to watch him work his paws over her finger labyrinth on World Labyrinth Day.
