Co-Creating Peace with Technology and Nature

The primary focus of this presentation is how Labyrinths that combine Technology and Nature can be used to inspire a peace within and among people, animals, nature, and the universe. The PowerPoint presentation will show a Nature/ Technological Labyrinth: a round enclosure where art, photo images, and videos of the world’s countries, people, and animals will be projected on the floor, surrounding cinematic circular walls, and the overhead astronomical dome. Natural elements—i.e. potted plants, trees, rocks, pebbles, fountains, and fish tanks — will be included.

Through the presenter’s art and poetry, participants will learn how to use their own images electronically for whatever occasion they wish: i.e. birthday, marriage, or funeral. They will begin by meditating on archetypal images relating to nature and people:

  • Spiral, the universe’s major gravitational and electrical form, and a possible origin of the labyrinth
  • Cycles (seasonal and psychological) of life, death, and rebirth figures Snake and Peacock, peacefully uniting, representing transformation; and the
  • Path of Mercury Labyrinth in the sky, possible origin of the classic, 7-circuit labyrinth

The activities sequence will be
